01 — Event Policies
How These Policies Work
These policies apply to every Terran Denizen event and program you register for, other than treks, which are covered by the Trek Participation Agreement. They work alongside our Terms of Service and our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
The version of these policies in effect when you register is the version that applies to that registration. An event page may add terms or vary these policies for that event, and the event page governs where it does.

Registration and Confirmation
Each event page states who the event is for, its date and location, any price, and how payment is handled. All places are booked through terrandenizen.com. Requesting a place does not guarantee one. Your place is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us.

Payment
Some events are free to attend. For others, payment is either collected by Terran Denizen at registration or coordinated by the event host, as stated on the event page. Where we collect payment, the refund terms shown at registration and our Refund and Cancellation Policy apply. Where the host collects payment, Terran Denizen does not process or refund it.

Cancellations and Attendance
Unless the event page states otherwise, cancel through terrandenizen.com at least 72 hours before the event. A later cancellation, or not attending, counts as a missed event. Two missed events in a row may lower your priority for future events.

At Events
Arrive on time. Treat conversations as private: do not record them, and do not post about hosts or other attendees without their consent. Our Community Standards in the Terms of Service apply at every event.

Photos and Video
Photos and video are taken at Terran Denizen events. By registering for and attending an event, you agree to be photographed and recorded, as described in Section 7 of our Terms of Service. If you do not wish to be photographed, please do not register.

Roundtables
Terran Denizen Roundtables are intimate gatherings of 6 to 12 people, typically two hours, led by a host. Dinner is the signature format; others include breakfast or coffee, tea, wellness sessions, fireside chats, company visits, workshops, and cultural outings. The terms below apply to every Roundtable in addition to Sections 1 to 6.
- Who can attend. Each Roundtable page states who the Roundtable is for. Peer Roundtables are grouped by career stage: Early-Career (current MBA students and MBA alumni up to 3 years since graduation), Mid-Career (4 to 12 years) and Executive (13 or more years).
- Selection. Roundtables are small, and each guest is selected for the host and the group. Your place is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from us.
- Cost and payment. Each Roundtable is either Hosted or Split, as stated on its page. Hosted Roundtables are free to guests. At Split Roundtables, guests pay their own share. The Roundtable page shows the price per person and whether payment is collected by Terran Denizen when your place is confirmed or coordinated by the host at the Roundtable.
- Cancellations. Cancel through terrandenizen.com at least 72 hours before the Roundtable. A cancellation inside 72 hours, or not attending, counts as a missed Roundtable. Two missed Roundtables in a row lower your priority for future Roundtables. Where Terran Denizen collects payment for a Split Roundtable, it is not refunded for cancellations inside 72 hours.
- Attendance. The host confirms attendance after each Roundtable. That record determines missed Roundtables.
- Photos. The host photographs the group at each Roundtable. By attending, you agree to be photographed.
